I am in the very early stages for wiring up my garage. I plan on running 0-10V dimmable High bay lights.
My thought is to at each high bay light location have a half hot duplex receptacle with the high bay plugged into the switched side. Then the other side can be used for extension cords, etc in the ceiling. I also want to be able to dim these lights using 0-10V dimming. Plan is to run 12/3 Romex SIMpull NM-B-PCS Duo cable to each location.
My question is what do you guys do for the finish face plates? Do you just put a 2 gang box up there with one side having the duplex receptacle and then the other side is a low voltage pass through where the 0-10V low voltage lines connect into the high bay?
Thoughts on this and also have a nice clean look?
