A long time ago I think I read about (maybe dreamed about) combo deals with Premier Garage if you do your floor and cabinets with them at the same time. I have a bid for doing both, but I sure don't see a discount line item. Do they ever have home show special pricing or stuff like that? How flexible are the franchises on pricing?

fyi...i had these guys to my floors and they turned out well...3 car garage and I think it was about $600. Do the cabinets yourselfs as they will charge you out the a$$ and you can do better with lowes or HD.

They are doing my 3 stall garage at the start of April. The will fill in cracks , grind the floor and they are doing the 1' footing all round and I am going with a chip coat to match the exoposed driveway. They are doing a 10' work bench with stainless steel top. 2 of the doors of the work bench will be roll out recycle drawers in bottom. Above the work bench 10' of 48 x17" I am also doing 2- 48" wide by 17" by 9' tall wall cabinets. And 4- 48" x 17" upper cabinets. They are pewter in color. The quality of their cabinets I found to be the best there was. I looked at home depot. home hardware, garage strategies and lot of the display models they had were falling apart. Premier has a lifetime gurantee on the cabs. Their shelves are rated for 400lbs each My project is just over 11k cdn. I felt putting good quality in the garage is an investment in my house which returns as a good selling feature that is reasily recoverd when selling. My last house I tried the cheap route and it was a waste of money. Doors easily chipped and shelving was not strong enough. If have a premier store in your town definetly check them out to see top notch quality

Tom,

I did my 28 x 28 using Sherwin Williams Armour Seal. I did it last year myself(of course I own my own painting company) and it has held up well. You have an open invitation to take a ride down to Salem to check it out.

Hey Chuck, Whats going on! I would like to see it. The premier stuff felt really thick. Does the sherwin williams go on easy? Is it substantial? I was thinking about doing something like that myself and eventually doing the racedeck type tiles on top. I figure if I just do the tiles the floor would get ruined underneatch when we spilled stuff.

Still waitin' for my block to come back:rolleyes2

Both? If that's the case then you really shoudn't care too much about it's thickness. You can probably go with just one coat. I didn't find the job difficult. You do have to wear a respirator however. Keep in mind that any liquids spilled on an epoxy floor will just sit there until you clean them up. They will not soak into the concrete. So... you'll be pulling up your tiles to clean up any messes.

I was thinking about incorporating those tiles that the liquids can evaporate through in the areas where the cars are. I wonder how fast liquids can get down between the cracks in the tiles anyway.
