Prentiss Vise No 88

Hey all.

I have been looking for a good vise. I stumbled upon a Prentiss that caught my eye. I cant seem to find anything on a model 88? The owner says it has 6" jaws.

Does anyone know anything about this model and what is too much to pay? I know I would not pay anything near what he is asking, but dont want to low ball. He wants $750 as is.

Keep looking. Good deals are out there. Now that I have all the vises I have room for, I see a Parker, Morgan, Columbian for decent money every month or so.
