Picked a prentiss vise up for 20$. I disassembled and sandblasted the entire thing. Tapped all the holes and filed the screw to remove any burrs. Finished off with a industrial black enamel and red lettering. What does everyone think??

SGG: nice work on the Prentiss. other than the sideways pictures which i think happens when posting from cell phones or Ipad and not exactly sure why it looks like you did a great job spiffing it up.

the swivel lock came with a wrench in case you find one or want to make one yourself.

are you talking about replacing the old CROWN nut with a sleeve and set screw? or how about a few pictures?

welcome to the forum!!
