Prep / crack question prior to epoxy on floor

Hello all - newcomer here (great site!) and preparing to epoxy our garage floor, using Legacy Industrial products which seem to be highly regarded here.
Question: there is a thin crack in the cement floor, perhaps 1/16" wide at most, and about 8 feet long. Does a crack this size need to be chased and then filled prior to applying the primer/epoxy/topcoat?
