I'm finally building my barn which I hope to start a build thread on soon if I can find the time. The Pole barn only has poles and girts up along with top truss carriers. Can I do anything to prep for a lean to down the eave side? Could I put a row of 2x12 below the truss carrier 2x12 to allow a nailing surface for lean to? I dont have the money to put up an open lean to now, but I want one later. What would you do to allow installation of a lean to 1' below the overhangs? Thanks

I would add any nailers you may need later aswell as any headers if you plan to have a door access.
