I have Racedeck flooring inbound for a new garage build. I'd appreciate advice regarding whether to seal the concrete prior to the flooring install or just leave it as finished. thx - Lee

If it is new concrete and has never been sealed, you could put a densifier and sealer on it to protect from freeze thaw -- depending on where you are at. If it is a solid tile, I HIGHLY recommend landscape fabric before installing

My garage floor was 38 years old when I installed my Free Flow. No idea what the builder did to the garage floor when the house was built but I used NO sealer or such. I gave the floor a scrubbing with soap and a hose. I made sure there we no lumps of dried paint or drywall mud as I had had drywall work done just before laying the floor. I did NOT use any underlayment and I have no complaints after almost 7 years. My garage is a great place to wash and detail my Mustang in the shade. CJDave.
