Any optometrist office should be able to make a set up for you.

I wear prescription safety glasses as my main pair. Have to have saftey glasses at work and I hate wearing them over my regular glasses. Place I have gone to for years for glasses had a nice assortment to pick from. I have the detachable side sheilds. I wear mine all time because everybody says I look better in them then my normal pair. With sheilds removed, you would never know I have saftey glasses on.

I did something similar to bobcatdan, when I worked at a large factory. I found the safety glasses are cheaper than the regular glasses. The last pair I got came From Walmart optical.

I have Wiley X "Blink" frames with prescription lenses. They are wrap around frames and I even got Transition lenses so they are great outside as well. A worthwhile investment for sure.

I've got a pair for work and a pair for the home shop. My employer pays for safety glasses (including redo of prescriptions) once per year, as well as steel toed shoes.

To be true safety glasses, they must meet ANSI Z87, believe it or not the frames, side shields, and lenses re carefully engineered to meet specific needs including some resemblance of "face protection" from impacts. The pairs I have are Titmus brand CS65 which are fairly common...

x2 on the Wiley X. ANSI Z87. Look good, feel good. Good enough for the US military, good enough for me.

Great I will check local and see if the Wiley is available and check local LensCrafters if they offer anything

Almost any frame can have safety lenses installed.
Run it by your employer first if you're unsure of frame types allowed.

The frames have to have impact rating as well, so adding safety lenses to regular glasses won't do much. Most safety glasses have sturdier frames.
