I built my 80 ton shop press and normally use the 30 ton jack in it but do use the bigger one from time to time.

I normally just use the press for thick steel bending of 1/4" - 1 1/2" on different parts. I use it mostly for steel fabrication and not so much for auto work.

The more accessories you have for the press the more you will use it.

Pictured also shows one of the thick steel benders i made for the press.

I save everything that could be used as a press tool, the inside pieces of bearings after you cut the cage off work great, also old races, bushing drivers, old kingpins

I'm very interested in this too as I have a 12 ton HF press that I use quite a bit for suspension work. Could you guys provide some links to the items that best compliment a press?

Thanks

Any good places to get scaps of heavy plate or tubes? I could definitely see those helpful for pressing bushings and bearings.
