I picked up the following pressure washer from sears.
3800 psi 4 gpm, Honda GX390 motor

07175238000

It was a return, but got full warrany. Paid only 450 instead of $999.

The only issue is that it doesn't have a wand/gun or nozzles with it.
Just wondering what to look for when buying a pressure washer wand/gun.
I know it must have the pressure rating but what else?

I plan on mostly using it for washing cars, the house and other homeowner stuff.

Get the quick connect tips instead of the twisting universal one. You will be much happier with it. Other than that there are ones with the connection off the bottom of the pistol grip and ones with it in front of. I prefer off the bottom as it seems easier to maneuver the wand and manage the cord. Also watch what size the connection is and consider going to quick couplings on their as well, its makes winding the cord a million times easier and you can drain it easier as well.

Check the pressure rating on the gun and make sure it is a good bit higher than what your washer is rated at. As for the nozzles, they are rated by volume, so just pick a set that is in your volumetric range.

Get me the model number from the tag on the machine and I will tell you who made it and what the part number is for the original gun. Sometimes you have to put a specific gun on these units to get the performance. As you can tell by my screen name this is my forte'....

I don't have the model number of the machine but the pump is an Annovi Reverberi and the "Original" Gun is an AL10 from Annovi Reverberi. I checked this at the local sears hardware store that had one of these on display. The specs listed on the gun at the store were 3800psi max and 8 gpm.

Here is where I was looking at some. http://www.pwmall.com/s-20742-trigger-guns.aspx

One thing I am trying to decide on is if I should get a gun with extension

Even though this thread is over 6 years old, I'm interested. Anyone have a pressure washer wand with attached soap dispenser? The one that comes with it stinks. I mounts near the pump.

while you're shopping for pressure washer stuff. you might want to look into "turbo nozzel's" & surface cleaners. if you are doing sidewalks/drivway's it will save a lot of wear and tear on your new machine.
