Hi guys...I was working trying to clean some cement around the house using my electric pressure washer. It wasn't up to the task.
Long story short, a friend stopped by and gave me the pressure washer shown in the pics. It has a Honda 5HP engine that runs great. Problem is, the pump leaks around the top of the pump where the pressure knob is located and it also doesn't draw cleaning chemicals as it should. Finally, if I stop spraying...the engine usually stops too.
My thinking is to just replace the pump. I see some replacements on eBay for $129 and they are the same make that is on the washer now, although higher pressure and a different appearance. They are listed for my model, EXWGC2225.
Since my experience is very limited on these things...am I better off trying to rebuild or fix this pump or just replace it? Or...just use it as is (which is a PITA)?
