I purchased a heavily neglected belt driven NorthStar pressure washer at auction from a local city public works department.
Included with the pressure washer was a 3/8" hose cut in several places which i tossed, and a very industrial type pressure washer gun and rediculous hose which is either 1/2" or maybe 3/4" which certainly isn't original to the pressure washer.
I have spent the last several days freeing up the honda gx360 engine, sand blasting and repainting the entire pressure washer, and cleaning the TS2021 pump.
Ultimately i need a new unloader, gun, wand, and nozzles to complete the pressure washer. In the end, i'll have about $650 in what will be a completely restored, normally $2,000 new, northstar pressure washer.
The question is, what kind of gun/wand do i have here?
On the foregrips left side, it says what i think to read as ALTI-FUSTI, and on the right side says IDROLANCIA. On the rear grip left side says UNIVERSAL, and on the right side says BOLOGNA.
I would like to incorporate the gun back into the complete restored pressure washer. It is VERY heavy duty compared to todays modern pressure washer guns. The rear main grip is solid cast brass, and the main tube of the gun is stainless steal which is a little more than an inch in diameter.
What will be most difficult is finding a way to incorporate quick connect nozzles to the gun. As you can see in the pic, the current nozzle is a 0° nozzle which is stamped 2.5 on the side before the threads. The removable nozzle has an o ring which seats into a channel in the brass tip of the gun.
Not sure how to get parts for this and my guess is that it's metric cause the nozzle and the male brass end at the end of the gun are bigger than 3/8" but not quite 1/2".
I just hate tossing this, or not being able to use it. It's insanely overbuilt.
Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. THANKS!
