Pressure washer storage

Hey guys

I'm looking for some tips on how to best store my pressure washer.

The washer itself is fine, but the hose that runs out to the lance is really unwieldy and difficult to loop up, thanks to the thick sheath that protects it.

Does anyone have a neat solution on how I can store it without snaking all over the floor or damaging the hose?

Those hoses are a pain. The best way is to just disconnect the hose from the pressure washer each time. It lets the hose spin as you loop it back up.

I considered removing it but have a feeling the plastic cowlings on the threads probably wouldn't stand up to much repetitive removal.

It would be easier to coil up, though.

Go to a real pressure washer store and get quick disconnect fittings. They make them, and they aren't terribly expensive, even though they are solid brass. Mine don't even leak. Very handy! :)

As has been said, get the quick connects for both ends. Disconnect from the pump and the wand, then lay it out in a straight line. Rolls up easy as can be. I have 2 50' lines and it takes about 5 minutes to roll them.

I think also you can get a more flexible hose than the stiff plastic ones, again from a real pressure washer store. Mine is also a pain, will be doing the same thing.

I have the brass disconnects also. I just unplug the hose and wind it up on the reel. Bought those when i bought the PW. I have never left the hose attached to the pump so didn't even consider that as a problem...
