Has anyone ever built any kind of attachment to wash under their vehicle? I've thought about building one out of black pipe and putting some small caster wheels on it or making something that you could just drive over. Or is there one that's not terribly expensive and makes more sense to just buy??

I thought about that too, but found you can buy the attachment way cheaper than you can make your own.

^I bought that last year and Im pretty happy with it. The angles are a little off where the wand hooks on but its bearable. It doesnt spray hard pressurized water, more of a strong mist. You can hold your hand over the jets no problem. It will remove salt N such but not thick mud and such.

I have a utility sink in my garage with hot and cold water. I usually give my cars rinse over before pulling them into the garage at night with a nozzle similar to this:

You could do something with PVC piping with the end turned up 90 degrees with a small nozzle on it. I don't think you need the pressure of a pressure washer.

I was someplace last year and a guy was using a garden hose and lawn sprinkler . He put it under the front let it run an hour or so then pulled the hose and sprinkler back 3 feet and did it again then back 3 feet and so on till he had washed the entire underside to his satisfaction. Looked like it would work just fine to me.
