Need to be able to wash mold/ mildew/ algae, spider webs, dead insects, from single story house, wood deck in humid climate.

Will NOT be like washing heavy trucks, excavating equip or anything like that.

Have been planning to buy a $500 range pressure washer probably from Northern, but now I'm seeing more and more about "soft wash" for my purposes.

Also, some hybrid version of foam cannon to put on and press washer to rinse ?

Getting old and slow here, What takes least physical labor

So what's best bang for the buck for MY needs ?

Sons father-in-law is in the business. He uses a low pressure siphon system to spray house. Uses a combination of Dawn and bleach. Sprays it on, waits till just before it starts to dry then uses low pressure to spray it off. He does use a pressure washer with telescoping wand to accomplish this but he turns the pressure way down. Leaves the house sparkling clean.

Soft wash is used for wood siding, roofs, etc....... Soft wash has a wider spray pattern nozzle and the pressure is 500 PSI.

I have a 4000 PSI Pressure washer and use a wide nozzle for delicate surfaces..... Look for more GPM for better cleaning instead of high pressure.
I did have a contractor come in and used a soft washer on my roof.

TIP! Check out a local pressure washer store who sells quality equipment that is rebuildable.

Yes! the Dawn and bleach mix works good but..... Beware that BLEACH will kill plants.

I used 30 Seconds outdoor cleaner this spring and it worked great...... Purchased a 2 1/2 gallon jug from Lowe’s to give it a try and I was happy with it. I put it in my foam attachment and sprayed the house then used the pressure washer to rinse it off. www.30secondscleaner.com

I've got a Green Works 2300 psi from Blowes, with a Ryobi foam gun, and a couple wand extensions, if I can't quite reach. It works great. It comes with it's own chemical tank and set of nozzles, including turbo, but I like the better foam of the Ryobi widget. And, you flip a switch and get a nice mid-pressure rinse. I use the dawn and Clorox mix in it, and I get great results on everything I wash.
