I happen to like the Northern tool Powerhorse 3100 psi blue one. Its on sale right now for $299 and free shipping. I had the older version for years. I gave it away to my neighbor after I made a home made diesel powered one. Still running.

If you're serious about wanting a good pressure washer you need to get something with a pump that can be replaced.... The pump is what always goes bad. Ive been eyeing a simpson PW from tractor supply. If you get the right one they have cat pumps which I read is better than the box store PW pumps.

Got this one at HD a couple of years ago for $78, lol. Thats when everyone was posting the .01 cent sale stuff. The weren't happy I found it on a top shelf :)

Regardless it is very well built, and kicks **** here on the farm.

I went with this exact one. Hoping it holds up. Have a few Ryobi battery powered tools that are nice and never had a problem
We shall see.
Now off to resurfacing my patio!

Anything in the $300 price range is all going to be similar construction.

Out of personal preference I would recommend getting one with a Honda engine.

I've read so many bad reviews on the "new" Briggs engines that are no prime, no choke, and never change the oil...

I personally have a Ryobi 3,100 PSI with "idle-down", it has the Honda GCV190 engine. I got a heck of a deal on it though (Craigslist find) and it gave me an excuse to upgrade from my older Troy-Built 3,000 PSI with a B&S engine, which worked great, no complaints on it. The Troy-Built did have a pump that was made in Italy, pretty sure all cheapie ones now are made in China. When you are at the store you can look for a label on the pump itself to see where it's made...

If you want to save some money, check the "refurb" section at your Home Depot & Lowe's... At Home Depot I picked up a 2,800 PSI Ryobi (Honda Engine) for my neighbor for $75 (reg $299)! Even though it was a refurb they said it still had the regular return time frame and a 1 year warranty. I had good timing on that though as the lady *just* marked it down before I got there.

Not sure what pump/motor this one has, but I’ve had it for about 3 years. I bought it reconditioned from Home Depot. I don’t recall it being more than $250(?) probably closer to $200...

It stays outside 99% of the time, sits with gas in the tank/carb, and I think it still has the oil from when I bought it :shocking:

But, it fires up first crank, the pressure is great to do what I need (engine bays, concrete, engine blocks, etc).

When (if) this one goes out I may just get another Ryobi in a higher PSI (why not, right?) hahahahaha

That looks like the Subaru engine, but I think Ryobi "rebadged" it for their line.
