I hooked up my recently refurbished I/R compressor to my hard-piping system in my shop today, and pressurized the lines for the first time.

Brought it up to 90 PSI in the lines, and no leaks at all anywhere.

Sweet!

Eventually, the compressor will go up on the pallet rack it is currently sitting under.

Sounds like good news SteveO.

Interesting way that you have those two tees put together like that, I don't think that I have ever seen that before.

Yeah, well it's hard to find a 3/4" 4-way around here, and I wanted the line spaced away from the wall a little.

Did you check HD ? I thought I saw them there when I was pricing some pieces and parts.

EDIT oh I see you said 3/4", I was looking at the 1/2" junk.

I looked at HD and various others places trying to find a 4-way larger than 1/4" about a month ago. No luck.I settled for a 3/8 tee.

No unions. It's a non-union shop :)

ROFL!!! I'm with you on that one!

Isn't it great, complete silence with a pressurized tank??? My father's compressor ALWAYS leaked like a savage. One day I got sick of it and took the regulator, drain valve, and all the fittings off. Correctly reinstalled the regulator that had the spring backwards, sealed up all the fittings and fired it up. First try, and still no leaks to this day...FTW!

FYI Steevo, I was at HD the other day and I saw Galvanized crosses for you airline if you need them. They were $7.07 each and the SKU was 174-328. If that helps you out at all.
