T11 / Smart siding. I am going to use it for the last 8' of my shop. I can't decided if I wanna try the new MDF style one or just use the actual wood one.

About the same thickness and look..

What do you guys think about them?

For the trim on my garage I used a product by miratech that is the MDF style. Im actually pretty impressed with it. I had a cut off laying around so I tossed it in some water for a few days and it barely expanded and wasn't falling about. With that said I have the pressed board on my shed and also have no issues with it.

Yeah, I even took my dad to check it out last night just to get his opinion.. Its so hard to not think that it will just **** up moisture and rot.. LOL..

but it is an exterior grade product, that I am thinking about putting inside, probably last longer than me... dunno, for 4 dollars more a sheet i can get wood..

Did you seriously tape each joint in the faced batts?

That's a lot of outlets.

Since he has a furring strip over the top of it and not drywall pressed directly against the faced batt to smash the joints together, taping it was an excellent idea. The faced batt would be pretty useless otherwise. I think I would have just used unfaced batt and added a plastic vapor barrier though...

And yes, that's a lot of outlets!
