Anyone know much about them?.....I am looking at some oxygen and acetylene regulators, been on the guys shop shelf for years........They appear to be in good shape, but I was curious as to whether parts were available,(diaphragms, etc), in case they need a rebuild....
The acetylene reg. is p/n Type R-111,
The oxygen reg. is p/n type R- 110

Yep, I Googled it, and all that showed up "Prest-O-Weld" wise was a person looking for some parts , for the same companys mig welder.

They looked to be striking out as well.................I need some regulators for
a Henrob welding outfit, and ideally I would like some dual diaphragm units, for their adjustability.....................These would fit the bill, unless I am looking at something that is irrepairable if needed.

Anyone have some input?

Thanks

You sure it wasn't Prest-O-Lite? Prest-O-Lite was the old Purox/Union Carbide/Oxweld light torch series. It's all under ESAB now.

Very good medium/light duty single stage torchset. The smallest torch in that series was extremely well balanced, and had the gas control knobs right behind the mixer. That set was popular with autobody and aircraft sheetmetal guys.

Gas Tech made a weld-o-pak , so I googled that -- it's now owned by ESAB as well

The link will take you to a "prest-O-weld" write-up. I assume that name and brand are now part of the ESAB family.

Good luck!!
