Hi All,
Just closed on our house that includes a 48x36 horse / equipment barn. There’s a 400
Sq ft apartment in back and you can see the EPS used for insulation (and vapor barrier?).

Interested in ideas to cover up the insulation to make it look nicer without spending a ton of money. Thinking of skinning over with cedar fence boards at <$1.50 ft2.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!IMG_2658.jpeg

Tape the seams on the foam and use whatever you like.
Even about 3 sq of some vinyl siding on clearance would be fine and save you $ over cedar.
Nice looking building and congratulations on your new adventure. 👍

Looks like the insulation is on walls and floor, are you planning to cover both? Living space has me thinking fire rating and drywall, but not sure that really matters with all that wood. Maybe metal for an industrial look?

There’s drywall on inside of living space, so guessing that has me covered on the fire rating on inside. good to verify that.
