Prevent grass sticking to Mower Deck?

I use PAM cooking spray. I also use PAM on my snowblower in the winter. Keeps the snow from sticking and clogging everything up.
I dealt with that problem by retiring to Texas. I just sit inside, enjoy the bit of snow we have, and wait for it to melt.

spray with a silicone based product and you'll never get paint to adhere again. :)

Spray with the silicone and paint doesn't matter... Moisture doesn't stick either. :)
You don't see any rust in my pics and this deck has been running for two years after I rebuilt it. :)
My '87 Cub hasn't been painted in 15 years. It looks just like the ' 06. No paint and zero rust.
Just try it, man, it works and you have absolutely nothing to lose here... :)

I sandblasted and painted underside of my 40 year old mower deck rinses off easily now. When decks rusty and crusty the clippings bond to deck. I tried spray lube one year, it helped but my deck had a Very rough surface
The tractor deck is fastened to remains original turd yellow

I did this one as well. Sand blasted and painted when I rebuilt it. I soaked it in silicone before the first use and haven't looked back. Cleans up easily and doesn't rust. :)

I think you sold me on this mark, going to give this a try when the season is over and I take the deck off and clean it.

I'll probably paint mine and then use some kind of spray. By the time the paint wears out again it will be time for a new mower. Its 13-14 years old now.
