So due to my temporary disability I obtained a first quote on polyurea for my 1200 sf pole barn floor.

Grind , patch , base coat with flakes and top coat the next day $7200

10-14 mil thickness

Thoughts?

I think you have a decent quote. I paid $4,000 for an area of about 500 sf. The company I dealt with gave me a 20 year warranty. Mine did lift in a couple areas from moisture from beneath after a year. They came back and resurface the whole area.

Material is what about 2000ish. 5000 for labor sounds insane. Unless they grinding floor by hand.

4 bucks a square foot.

Unless full flake and then its more like $5.

Thats for grinding and coating. Patching would add to that. How much patching is required?

Man, that is a lot of money for a shop floor. $6 a foot?

3 quotes will tell you if it is reasonable for your area. My bet is that it is high

No patching as this is a very nicely done smooth troweled floor.

ok. Your OP stated patching that was why I mentioned it.

$4 a foot for light flake and $5 for heavy/full flake. And even those prices make me choke.
