Well, my ebay auction didn't work out, unfortunately. I may just go the truck route, what's a decent truck price for it?

I've already tried the EBay route, it didn't work out. I was trying to see what people were paying off the truck, since I'm under the impression that the drivers usually haggle with people vs list price.

the PH3050A and B are identical, the B just has the quick release installed where the A had it loose in the box. Currently the Bs are getting a premium on ebay because its the newest iteration, drawing out the clueless. PH3050A use to go new for 200-250 all day on ebay (tool only not the kit). Probably still do.

Whether or not you can get a deal cut is very much YMMV. Far from all of them do it, and generally its only for long time loyal customers and even then it might be 10-15% off list. Off the street you'd probably save sales tax if you had cash in hand. Considering the thing is $360 off the truck and they can be found for $100 less off ebay, and since its an air tool with a 2yr warranty as opposed to lifetime like hand tools, just go ebay.

As the others said, normally I don't haggle with my dealer, I wait for him to offer me deals on items I buy, and I thank him when he does.

I didn't start getting discounts on items until I had become established and spent a good deal with him, and I only get a discount once every month or two.

The main way he tries to help me out, is by taking down a written list of items that I'm interested in, and then matching that up with upcoming sales, he has done very well for me in that area.

Just checked, nope. I did get a decent price on a few punches/chisels, the boot, and the universal air swivel. A member here offered me his for a good price, so good I couldn't refuse. Thanks for all the help guys!
