As the title suggests, I need to know a ballpark figure for a welder.

The one in question is a Lincoln SAE-350 diesel welder, 450 hours, deutz diesel, on a trailer with good tires. It looks very aged and weather worn, but claims starts and welds great. So if as described, what's a price? Oh also has 25 foot leads.

Thanks!

you cant beat a lincoln motor driven welder! Im not sure in your area but 3000 is not a bad price. a brand new sae 300 is 15k. I got my vantage at auction for 32 on a **** trailer with no leads and a lot more hours. The machine will run a long time and are good welders.

Yeah I only want an engine driven one, I've had very very good luck with them at the shops I've worked. I was hoping it wouldn't be that expensive, but it's worth what it's worth. He's supposed to call me back tomorrow with a price, I am hoping to get it for a song haha!

another bit of advice. chances are it will hold its value well... and its just barely broken in. min has over 5k hours. at the auction it came from there lots with 6-7000 thousand. I figure I know they last that long, I will have mine paid for itself before it reaches that many hours. check searchtempest or ebay and try and see what kind of prices you see

ok let me rephase that, go to the internet and look up rsc on their web page and then click used welders, when that page comes up, compared the prices to what you looking for.
