What is the average price to put up a pole barn?I am looking for something simple. One side entrance door, one or two windows, two roll up doors.
Foundation dug,40x40, 6" slab, electrical(I would put in the boxes and hang the fixtures).Shell only no sheetrock, no insulation or anything else.It would be in Union County NC.
Thank You

prices vary wildly by area. My 40x64x12 with 3 10x10 doors and no windows was $25K. The concrete slab was another 7K.

20-25k if you do it yourself(concrete done pro)
I have 40x60 shell was 12.5 k (two 10' sliders) added my own windows(8), 2 walk doors(about 125 per window and door). Mine included 1 foot overhangs all the way around, foil insulation for roof(highly recommend because of condensation problems) no other insulation.
With fill for floor(plastic included) sand clay for base and 4 inches of rock and backhoe rental. I have about 18k in building(no concrete) with everything done myself. Added wiring last year( about 1-1.5k done by me). Floor at 4 inches, cannot justufy 6 inch costs, it will be 3k for concrete without labor.
You can just about double that price with labor included. So mine would be about 42k installed.

My pole barn was 24K

24*30 interior with slab insulated with that bubble foil stuff
24*24 covered area with no slab
4 windows
4 Doors
1 10 foot roll up

All work done by manufacturer including concrete. I had to do the pad prep.

I have just finished a 40x48 on concrete
insulated walls and ceiling
an inner wall for a seperate painting area,
electric, lights, and just enough plumbing for a sink
one 14x10 and one 10x10 overhead door and a single entrance door

I shopped and bought the materials, paid for the concrete work and the labor to get the shell up. I did the electrical, insulation, and plumbing myself.

I am near Houston TX. It's a really nice building. Went through Hurricane Ike, about 30 miles from the eye, with no trouble. I have a commercial kitchen and dairy parlor in there.

Here's a couple pics:

Thanks just getting some ideas. We plan on moving to NC,Union Cty to be exact and all the properties we are looking at don't have anything that will work for me but are on like an acre of land.I like to restore cars on the side.I will be retiring and want a place to do my work.If I can get something real simple for about 25,000 I will be happy.I am not looking for extra doors, windows. As long as I get a shell with concrete I will be good.I was figuring about that much.Seems doable.

I don't know 427, I chopped my building in half with a stud wall and all the windows are in one room. The other has none and there is not a day that I don't wish I had ordered more of them.
