I found two separate socket sets in my dads storage shed over the weekend and I'd like to sell them. Looking for input on pricing these sets separately. If someone is interested in purchasing from me, please be kind enough to pay all shipping costs. Thank You!!

Here is the best description I can provide: (pics attached)

1'' drive socket wrench with 27'' handle
1'' drive breakover bar with 23'' handle
1'' sockets include-3 1/8, 3, 2 15/16, 2 13/16, 2 3/4, 2 5/8, 2 9/16, 2 1/2,
2 3/8, 2 7/16, 2 5/16, 2 1/4, 2 3/16, 2 1/8, 2, 1 15,16, 1 7/8, 1 13/16,
1 11/16, 1/2'' to 3/4'' converter (20 sockets total)

Wrench and all sockets made by Wright
Breakover bar made by Proto

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

3/4'' drive socket wrench with 15'' handle made by Williams
3/4'' drive breakover bar with 16'' handle made by Williams
3/4'' sockets include-2, 1 3/4, 1 11/16, two 1 5/8, two 1 1/2, 1 5/16, 1 3/16,
1 1/4, 1 1/8, 1 1/16 (12 sockets total)
2'' extension (Williams)
6'' extension (Williams)

Sockets made by a mixture of Williams and Armstrong Armaloy

I also have a toolbox for the 3/4'' sockets that I will include with the set.

All the wrenches and sockets do have some rust on them as you can see but they all work smoothly. The sets are an estimated 25 years old.

I live in south Texas and will deliver up to the Austin area for a fee based on your location. I will also ship.

More than anything, I am looking for a price because I have no idea. Hope I can find a good home for these tools.

I'd pay 50 for the whole mess

Wouldn't we all.

For an actual price it varys based on location. I just purchased a similar set of 1" drive for $75.00 at a flea market and sold it the next day for $150

It would cost you so much to ship that because it would not fit in a flat rate box.
I will let others from Texas answer how much it would be worth in your area. With the economy locally tool sales have really went down in prices here.

At least in the Austin area, 1" drive is about twice as hard to sell as 3/4" and neither moves very well. Hard to tell from the pics but both look kinda rusty and tired. You'd have to find a really motivated buyer to get over $100 for the 1" stuff if you're shipping it, and you might be able to swing $150 for a F-F transaction.

Maybe its the rust build up or the fact the designs never change on big stuff, but the they look way older than 25 years. I'd put some effort in cleaning them up. All you need somebody with a hard on for big tools and for a $100 or $150, they will move. That 1" set is at least $1500 or so new, not real up on wright prices personally.

1" ratchet looks China made. Not familiar with a round head like that that is US made.

1" is a hard sell, need a needy, motivated buyer to get it sold.

3/4 sells better. Here in GA/AL at the flea markets, $3 to $5 a piece for the sockets, $25 to $40 for the ratchet, half that for the breaker bar, and a dollar an inch or a little more for the extensions.

Its been 5 years or so, but I bought a nearly unused, fairly old, Williams 3/4 set like that with a u-joint, sliding t-bar, and the ratchet, three extensions (4, 8, 10) for $75 off Ebay with another $20 or so shipping.

I'll give them to you for $50 if you pay all shipping costs or come down to Austin and pick them up.
I'm sorry everyone, I said $50 but I meant to put $150. I have done further research and concluded that $150 is a fair asking price. Sorry to be misleading.
