Primer, Epoxy, Clear spread question

I purchased enough primer, epoxy and clear for 900sf (Legacy). My garage is 630sf. I am wondering what the best use of the material is. The instructions say mix everything at once and each batch is good for 300sf. Should I spread the material so that each batch covers 210sf and would be thicker than a normal coat? Or should I do 600sf in 2 batches and then do the last 30sf and a 2nd coat over whatever I can with the third batch? Or since its just 30 extra SF, make 2 batches cover the entire 630sf and then use the 3rd batch to do a 2nd coat for however much I can?

Why not do normal coverage with the first two batches and see if you even need to mix up the third batch? If you look at the tech data sheets on the products, coverage isn't precisely 300 sq ft per batch. The urethane for example says one gallon covers 400-800 sq ft.

Well, yes. if I could get the 600sf batch to cover the whole floor adequately, thatd be preferable - then i could sell the unused portion. But, I was advised to order 3 x 300sf kits to cover my 630sf and if I have to use any of the 3rd batch, I would think I should go ahead and use it all.

I guess what I was getting at is that I wouldn't cover your first half with 300 ft of product. See how far it goes. I just did a little over 800 ft with the same things you have and only needed to mix up 1/2 of the final batch.

Gotcha. I guess Ill just mix the batch and now worry about how much I am covering. I want some left over because I think i want to cover the CMU block that sticks up about 6" around the entire floor with epoxy, but I am thinking that I want to do that after the floor is done and now at the same time.
Also wondering if I should cover that CMU with the HD 821 crack filler I ordered from legacy since the block is pretty porous. Hopefully Legacy will see this and can chime in

Seems I remember something in my Legacy kits that said coverage was 200 sqft for the kit they sell as a 300 sqft coverage. It was written on the can or on a seperate instruction sheet, I don't remember which. Check you kits. That being said I used the material at a coverage rate of about 300 sqft per kit and was pleased with the result.

My garage has three stalls and I divided the floor up into sections to match the number of kits. I mixed the first kit and rolled it on. My wife mixed the next kit as I was nearing the end of the application of the first kit.

Use the correct amount of primer. Approx. 300 sq ft per gal. Do not 2nd coat it.
Save any extra or let it harden in the bucket.
Base coat, use all supplied, little thicker is ok.

See how far the first mix gets you and adjust from there.

Urethane, you will get 350-400 sq ft per gal.
Only a pro would get 800 sq ft pulling it tight.
