Primer Selection for Epoxy-Coat

Hi,
I purchased a full kit of Epoxy-Coat on clearance at Lowes and after reading many comments on here I want to use a primer as I am grinding. I am having a hard time choosing a primer, based on my available options. My local Sherwin Williams doesn't carry the full on epoxy primer and I think its the kit too. I do not have a local PPG and the PPG 110 miles away does not carry aquapon 35.
Looking for suggestions that may be locally available, are there any other Sherwin Williams products I could use that are more popular? Am I better off buying 2 gallons of primer from Legacy or Garage Floors online?

Thanks

Sourcing epoxy primer locally is difficult. The reason is that local stores don't carry high performance concrete coatings to begin with, so no reason to carry a proper primer. Most stores carry concrete bonding primer which is not compatible.

If you can wait you would be much better off purchasing it from Legacy Industrial or some other vendor that knows their epoxy primer is compatible with Epoxy-Coat.

you have to talk to the head paint guy, tell him what you want and wait. took me about a week to get my ppg from the ppg retailer. no one will have it on the shelf that I found. i'm sure shermin can order something. probably about the same wait time as one of our vendors here.
