Forgive me if this is the wrong area for this question.
Anyone have an idea for a good cheap priming pump? This is for an irrigation system, we are converting from a gas engine where the engine vacuum was used to a diesel engine. I've thought about using the vacuum pumps that many of these came with but I'm not sure how well it would hold up to only really being used to prime the pump then have the valve closed off.
