I have the impact set, they are alright. As far as the impact goes, it's nothing special. Don't expect them to work on really seized screws where you would normally use a handheld impact driver and a larger hammer. I don't regret getting them on sale. As far as the dual tone ones go, I couldn't bring myself to get any. They remind me of some sort of alien/dragon/anime *** toy. Tentacle **** comes from the same place so you can see where they took their design cues from :spit:

I see PA has the Firepower® OxyFuel 250 Medium Duty Cutting and Welding Outfit $90 off currently.
http://www.princessauto.com/en/deta...um-duty-cuting-and-welding-outfit/A-p8590457e

From what I read FirePower is made by Victor technologies, I am guessing they are less expensive Victor's that are made in China?

I was looking at the Victor 0384-2046, but that would be at least $100 from what I could find.

Anyone feedback on the Firepower OxyFuel 250 is appreciated?

Just an FYI, PA carries Hobart stuff now

I saw that. One problem, the Ironman 230 is 2500 and the spool gun is another 850 CND. In the US, the ironman 230 with spool gun is 1800 USD.

We get hosed here.

I remember seeing thse a few months back for about $299 .

Oh, and no filters with it , nor the outlet manifold set up

Hey guys, Princess auto is censoring truthful reviews on their website. I bought the ProPoint 2 stage transmission jack from them and it was dead out of the box. I believe the valve is on bypass and for every 1 inch of height you gain, it drops back down 3/4's of an inch. I bled it 6 times as per the manual says and it's a no go. I called the head office and asked them how can their reviews be trusted, when truthful ones are being censored. Mike at head office really didn't have a response.

My review that was denied.

Having a problem with it right out of the box. I've bled it as the manual has said, 6 times now. Jack will lift 1 inch and then fall 3/4 of the inch you gained. You could pump this till your blue in the face and get nowhere.

They had a 36" long pry bar, flat tip with big blue handle for 12 bucks or maybe even less, but it's no longer on their website and not in my local store, too bad because I wanted a couple more (I have 2 currently) I once hung a 300 pound hear case off one on a machine I was fixing. I have one in my service truck and use it almost everyday, it's pretty heavy duty and was a crazy steal at 10 or 12 bucks or whatever it was. Should have bought a few while they still had them.

Canadian tire does the same thing.

They pulled one of my reviews that was critical of their ****** plastic portable tool boxes where the plastic grab handle simply breaks off if you have any tools inside it.

Although there can be shill reviews at Amazon, their review system is vastly better. Another reason I spent thousands of my hard earned dollars there, and not at Canadian Tire or Princess Auto.

It's amazing to me that some online retailers don't understand that customers today are smarter and notice things like this.

Lowes too censors unfavourable reviews. I bought a roof vent for my bathroom fan from their website. They sent me a completely different model than what was listed. I called as was told the model that was listed on the website was discontinued and I was given the new upgraded model. It was definitely a downgrade. I posted a review just to inform anyone else that they would not receive what they were expecting. It never made it online.

It really got me mad, as I did purchase the item, the item failed right out of the box, I wrote a truthful review with no foul language and they refused to post it.

I called Mike at head office and said to him, don't I have a right to comment in a respectful manner? He said they sold 300 jacks last year and only 20 came back. I told him that's not the point. I said customers use reviews to make purchasing decisions and you're not letting legit buyers tell the truth.

At that point he agreed with me, but still wouldn't post me review. You guys call mike and ask him why he is censoring reviews.

That's a 7% fail rate. Unacceptable!

Brake Cleaner goes on sale Tuesday, at least in Alberta. I thinks it's $3.00 savings per can. Good time to load up.

haha!! Call Mike and tell him. They put me through to him everytime I call head office with a problem.

Would his tune change if you told him you were injured due to their faulty product. And since they believe a 7% fail rate on a ****** jack is acceptable you'd like to speak to their legal department.

Are they decent?

Yes! A lot of ProPoints air tools are rebranded Kuani out of Taiwan. I bought their hammer head impact and it's awesome. I just wish they would bring in their impact ratchets that they make.
