I don't know if this helps out anyone not getting the mail out flyer. It took me three years to get a mail out flyer sent to me. Don't know why it takes so long for them to get their act together.

Do you not get the paper flyers weekly in your flyer bundle? I started getting PA flyers when they opened a local store which was a godsend!

It's hit and miss here. Sometimes they come, other times they don't.:headscrat

Reason being, I got next week's flyer today. Regardless, I figured out how Pharaoh is able to grab the PDFs - if you look at the URL, near the end is the phrase 'EventXX', add 1 to the '**' for the following week's promo.

PA used to sell what they called a parrot knife for < $5 which I found to be the perfect tool for opening shrink wrapped pallets. I purchased 4 a couple years back but have since lost or broken them all. Apparently now they have discontinued the item and I cannot find it anywhere else. Even online searching only seems to come up with stores in Australia. Has anyone seen them around elsewhere?

Thanks, but actually the blades on the ones I got from PA are replaceable. You can see the recessed nut at the top of the tool. I bought a pack of replacement blades at the same time that I bought the tools themselves, but the blades aren't very useful without the tool.

Thanks for the heads-up on the olfa unit as well.

Nice! that big larry looks good. Thanks for doing the homework on it.

Nice find!

I was impressed and bought one of each. I went Tuesday around noon (first day of sale) it looked like they were selling quickly. The regular rack location was empty but I found some on an end cap.

I went Monday, didn't have any on the floor, so I took a rain-check for the $10 one, they said 600+ were coming in from out west

Thanks for the heads up on these! I picked up 3 of the flashlights and have a rain check for 3 of the other, they didn't say when they would be in though.

Anybody have anything to say about this impact ? Not for work or heavy or industrial use, just something to run my 3/8 impacts and swivel impacts with.

I have an IR2115 with 300ft/lbs and find myself reaching for the 1/2" more

I think you're better off with a good 3/8 air ratchet and a composite 1/2 impact.

This one is a typical generic rocking dog "weaker than a twin hammer design " can't see much use for

I have 1/2 and 3/8. The screws holding the head in fell out and gone so it comes apart. The 3/8 I snapped the anvil off. Loved them up until this point but, just keep an eye on the screws!

When I started out I got a 3/8 drive impact socket set, an also found a good deal on 3/8 swivel impact sockets. I moved to 1/2" drive and am all good there, my 3/8 drive tools don't leave my garage(millwright who travels a lot). And I thought for 30$ this might get me to use them more.
Could always sell em for next to nothing and downsize..........haha yeah right eh
Might try this out

I would keep them and get a 3/8 air ratchet with impact action
I have the /cough Harbor freight air ratchet and does the job
I usually loosen the nut with ratchet as a breaker bar then hit the trigger, that will work on m12 and m14s on a stubborn jeep suspension

But for rusty big m16 and up I get the big 1/2 gun because the 3/8 is just struggling to get off, it probably will but will take some time to do so

Awesome work keeping the thread up to date. I love the early access to the flyers. Thanks to those who are doing the work to get this for us.

Funny, I just put a new serpentine belt, tensioner pulley and idler pulley on my car last weekend. I took a seal off the ball bearings and both had a surprising large amount of grease inside.
