I need one of these for my new bike. I've only had Battery Tender brand before. This seems like a good price for $40.

I bought that battery maintainer referenced in the above quote. The first one made that screaming "electrical noise", loud enough to be really annoying. In fact the returns woman agreed with me. We plugged in the replacement one before I left, it was much quieter, but still not noiseless.

Picked up some Powerfist metric 4-way angle wrenches on clearance for $34. Couple skips in sizes but paired with my Sunex sae set, they will work just fine.

Oooh! They've brought back the full drill bit set. If you don't yet own a full set (fractional, decimal and letter bits), this is a great deal:

When I bought my milling machine a year ago, Princess Auto no longer had these and I paid $120 for a set from Accusize tools.

Before you jump on those bits, it might be wise to read the reviews....I'll pass.

No surprise cheap drill bits are almost always ****. And you have to love the internet these days I clicked on the drill bit link and within an hour Princess Auto sent me Email about them.

yes total crappola

Interesting. I have a set, I find they're quite good. Of course mine's from 10 years ago.

I have a 29 piece drill bit set from CTC that I bought 25 years back for about $15. I was suspicious of the quality then, so only bought one set and rushed home to try them on a spring leaf. Was really surprised at how good they were and went back and bought six more sets....still have a couple of sets remaining after giving away a couple, to friends.

I probably would not bite on those PAL bits unless somebody here tested and rated them.

Meh, I don't have an issue with them. I mostly work on Aluminum and soft metals, but when I need to use them on steel it's never been a problem. In my shop, I have two sets. One set is used on the milling machine with aluminum, one set is used for general shop work. Most people spin drill bits way too fast and burn them out that way (IMHO).

p.s. the case does ****.

They have a trailer rim/tire combo in the new flyer, ST205/75R14 on a galvanized rim that was obviously a good deal for $125. A guy was pushing a cart with 4 out in the parking lot, another pair came out the door as I was approaching it, and I saw 2 more pairs in carts inside.

A quick update to the 7 ton stands I got, they're hella low if you're using them on IFS/IRS vehicles due to the droop and since you can't place them under the axle tube. Wondering if I could just fab up replacement longer tube. As such, I need to block up the jack stand which is a PITA.

Plus a Daytona jack plug!

On Tuesday this set of double-end 1/8" HSS drills goes on for roughly $5, down from $15. I'm in industrial maintenance and construction, and am constantly hand drilling 3/8-1/2" holes in steel with cordless drills, typically in the most god-awful positions you can imagine. A quick and dirty pilot hole with one of these is a huge time and energy saver!

I got the can crusher for my shop at 14.99 last week. Loving being able to put way more empties into a bag to take in.

My neighbour loved it so much he crushed all of his cans that he drank the other night.

Now they on for 5.55 next week I am picking up a few for stocking stuffers.
