So I'm in Saskatoon this week, and you know what that means... Princess Auto!

Anything that I should definitely pick up? I have Northern Tools at home and most of their stuff is junk but a few select pieces are decent... what is good @ the Princess?

Just go have a look around, you'll find tons of 'little' things that will come in handy.

As far as big ticket items.. probably not much different than Harbour Freight. I find the Power Fist power tools to be quite good for the price, they have always exceeded my expectations.

You can't fool us Canadians. We know a little ******* never scared a Yankee.

I'd pick up one of the OBD-2 scanners they have on sale.

A Canadian gent on this board was good enough to send me one of their roto ratchets in each drive size. 72 teeth, quick release, they look and feel great!

I was in Princess Auto in dartmouth last week and was looking at some ratchets on an aisle end when i was surprised to find a ratchet in a powerfist bublepack that had williams stamped on the ratchet head.Obviously it was miss packaged but it begs the question as to who is making the ratchets for both companies. Is williams supplying princess or is williams geting there ratchets from the same asian factory as princess?

I'm guessing williams is getting their ratchets from the same factory. I have a taiwanese williams ratchet, very smooth and quiet. I'm talking about an imported williams ratchet. I know they still make some stuff here.

edit: this is the one I got. Unbelievably smooth and quiet. I liked it so much I got the 1/2" drive from a different industrial supplier. Unfortunately, the 1/2 head is way too big.
