Not one of their tools, but their website. Recently they have added the stock quantity in your store. (Obviously a pass, if a bit late.)

stock quanities don't show up for every item (at least the few I checked).

eg: https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/12v-automatic-float-charger/A-p8729188e doesn't have quanties for me

I have found that if they have 10 or more items, it just says "in stock", when it drops below 10 it will indicate how many remain.

ie:I bought a #8830192 on thursday, just said 'in stock', store computer said 10. Today, '8 in stock'. So one other sold, possibly to the employee who got it for me as he was a bit surprised with the price as well and mentioned he should get one while they still have 'em.

FAIL: I bought a 3" crimped wire brush and used it on cleaning some metal, and after a short time I was wearing most of the bristles. Very disappointing.... I'm not buying top of the line stuff, but hey...

I use their impact sockets everyday, 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" drive. They stand up well and I use them on Snap on, Mac and IR impacts. Haven't broken one 10 years. The impact adapters don't last they are a fail. I have also had a straight die grinder I bought for $7.99 15 years ago still going strong. The powerfist auto darkening welding helmet I have works better in the cold then our shops $900 speedglass.

Yes I have it. I see the price is coming down, but I still paid less :bounce:https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=7754105&postcount=758

I havent pieced the Tig parts together yet (got a footpedal and regulator on sale, but havent gotten gas or torch yet)https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=7769687&postcount=766

So far Ive stick welded with it. It welds excellent. Hot start function doesnt make much difference IMHO.

Ive tried the footpedal out and it works, but seems a little bit choppy down low. Unfortunately you cant get one of the awesome SSC footpedals for it and have to go with the special PA one. If you want a footpedal, I suggest you get one now because they are on $0.03 clearance which means they are discontinued.

FYI as youve likely seen, there is next to nothing online about these PA machines as PA machines, but they are sold in other markets as Parweld XTT 202 P, Thermal Arc 202, Thermal Arc 186 or Esab 186i (plus others Im sure) . There is a lot more info out there on these brands including some Youtube videos.

Its a shame that PA is dropping this machine (its no longer even on the website, even the manuals are offline it seems). They really had the basis for a good line here. PAs big problem is they have nobody really knowledgeable about welding. When they brought this thing over the first time, it wasnt even footpedal compatible!

The new model they brought in to replace it isnt near as capable IMHO. Thats the scary thing about buying a electric "thing" from PA, they can change lines and product on a whim and youre left with an orphan.

Wow. What a smoking deal on the welder. They removed it from the web site and I called in Ottawa and none of the stores carry it here anymore. I believe they said there were still 1 or 2 stores that had it still.

I bought it for this price. AC tigs typically go for $1000+ and PA has an awesome return policy figured it was worth the risk.

Glad to see you are liking it. I’ll report back if I have any issues with mine.

Big time PASS for this Propoint dripless caulking gun! One of the best purchases I've made. I'm re-caulking all my baseboards and was losing so much material oozing out the end of the tube. Since I started using this one I haven't lost a drop.

Also just overall very sturdy and well built.

I had one & took it back. I don't like that the cartridge holder won't swivel , you have to release the plunger & twist the tube . I found it very awkward to use .

You're in Ottawa? Or are you just close to Ottawa? I'm in Ottawa.

Yeah it was the price and return policy that made me buy. Just to reiterate, if you want a pedal (and you likely do) make sure you get it ASAP, its unique to this welder and a few other older China imports that arent common up here. SKU: 8612194 https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/welder-foot-pedal/A-p8612194e

Regulators and torches etc can be bought any time because they arent unique to this machine.

Maybe someone should make a thread on the welder here? One of the only threads on this machine is pretty old over on Welding web. https://weldingweb.com/showthread.php?460411-Princess-auto-ac-dc-tig&
