Did Princess Auto, change suppliers for their Powerfist Adj wrenches. I needed another 12inch adj wrench and I just wanted to buy a cheap one for the farm.

Looked today and find that the "new" Powerfist series has really thin handles compared to before.

Anyone else notice this?

I didn't think it would be possible for Princess Auto to lessen the quality of their tools; Maybe they're using a new alloy?

It's called Princess Auto. The tools are meant to be small because they're probably for dainty little girls.:lol_hitti

Havent tried there new ones but i actually trashed my one powerfist adjustable wrench. It loosened up way too easy. There are really good deals on wright and other quality names on amazon.

you buy powerfist when you dont care about quality. if you want something better its going to cost more. if i buy a 5$ wrench i know that it is going to be a 5$ wrench not a 25$ wrench for 5$.

It's an adjustable wrench, it's the wrong tool for the job from the start. I carry the pa 6" wide jaw In my pocket, it's useful, not the best quality but serves me well in a pinch.
