Does anyone have a printable bevel setter? I would like to put it on the tool wall organizer for quick angle measurement. I think it would be a more practical version than the Veritas board in the photos.

I'm looking for a printable version. A .pdf or something. To print it on paper.

That link from paskmakes May be.
I looked at it and in Checkout it says free.
I didn’t want to fill in all my information till I looked better at it all for a scam but appears like a printable download.

No problem gang! I swear I seen that here before and "The Home Shop Machinist" or maybe H-Body.Org.? Either way not my find, but it sure does have some nice "patterns" already to go. Happy to bring it back into view, Have a great Day! Harry

I don't get it. A carpenter's bevel is used when you don't care what the angle is. You just care that the angle matches.

If you want a bevel with a protractor built in, why not just buy a bevel protractor? The come in cheap versions for under $10, inexpensive digital stuff, down to high grade vernier and dial style that will easily get you splitting tenths of a degree.

This should suit your needs for about $8:

These are about 3x the price, but get you 10x more accuracy too (around $25):

These are suspiciously inexpensive at $20 (I don't blindly trust cheap digital gauges):

I use one of these (they're about $30) when I need fine angle measurements:

I understand you. I also have a newer protractor, but especially in wood and leather I prefer to work with slightly older tools. I became more attached to some. You're right, it's more practical financially as you say, but it's about a little soul!

I don't get it. You are in the USA where tools of exceptional quality have been produced before. I wouldn't change old tools for new ones even if I was drunk! Some tools you can find in garage sales in your country are at ridiculous prices. Why buy quality China tools at the same price?
For example, the two combination squares in the attached photos. They have the same price for me, but for the one in the USA I should only pay the post almost three times more than that tool. Why would you buy a new tool from China? Or what is the pleasure of digitally setting an angle when you can do it in the old style?
Compare prices and quality -
