So I open the link to check if there is something that I might find useful. Most seems "US" sizes, and then oh wait at the bottom there is a "metric" chart as well.

So I open it and see all the nice bolt sizes with threads etc in metric units. So I think this might be useful, and then at the bottom there is a scale you should measure to check the scaling. Guess in what units? Inches!

It is almost like having a speedo in MPH and the tank in liters!

Thanks Stuart. I'll have to print some of those off for future reference, so when someone ask if I have a bolt that looks like this, with a head like that, but also has to be this, I can show them a chart and tell them to show me what they want.

Bolt Depot is also very good place to buy. I bought a box of the metric and sae thread checkers for stocking stuffers. Packaging of even the small items is labeled and secure.

Re: Printable bolt reference chart

This one comes in handy....

That Polish hardware chart must be as old as the hills. I had that exact same one posted in my aircraft T hangar in the mid '80's. It was one that had been photocopied a zillion times and had lots of spots and bad areas from the repeated copying, no internet then.

I got my copy of the polish bolt chart sometime in the 1970s. I always wondered about those old photocopy jokes that got passed around - there was some person who drew it up in the first place, who were they and when did they do it? :)

I remember one time I got a photocopied joke at work, and then one day later my brother in law showed me a copy of the exact same thing that he was given at a truck stop 1000 miles away.
