as big as sockets and wrenches are,why do they insist on stamping the size so damn small!

They use the same stamping machine for all sizes of a particular drive size.
The remedy is to wear bigger glasses.

I like deep roll stamping filled with grime on the shiny sockets,and i've heard a red or white china marker rubbed into the letters help them stand out.
how does the laser etching hold up? I've heard it gets rubbed off rather easily
