Having been priced out of joining the porcelain club, I'm now looking at epoxy alternatives. A local installer who is reasonable and has a number of happy customers in my old neighborhood indicates that he uses "4195" epoxy as his base coat. I know this is a well-regarded product for DIY's, but is it pro grade? His customers, including my former neighbor, are happy with their floors, but I don't think any of them use their garages the way us serious garage denizens do.
