My new jack stands arrived today. I wasn't satisfied with the 3 ton Pro-Lifts I got a few weeks ago due to some minor defects. Since I was sending them back anyway, I decided to go ahead and get the 6 ton T6906D model. I'm glad I did. The stands are very sturdy. The welds look fine and the locking pins inspire more confidence than the 3 ton version.

I've been looking at those same jack stands. I have two pairs of 3 ton and I'm just not that comfortable with them. The price is nice on them. I'm glad to hear you like them.

We recently bought a set of OTC 6 tons, and they are beasts. I wanted some of the torin big reds or the pro-lifts, but I wasn't super impressed with their pin locking mechanisms. I tried like hell to find usa made, but the only ones are us jacks, which are on backorder forever :(

I picked up 4 (2 pairs) of the six ton last fall when I was putting a lift kit on my truck. I got them when they were $55 a pair! Great buy, good stands.

I wish somebody would take a flyer on the ProLift hydraulic jack and review it.

I like mine. I don't really like any jack stand but I like the 6 ton far better than the 3 although a little tall for some applications. I still prefer cribbing if I have the room.

I’m curious is anyone knows what the deal is with MVP, Pro-Lift, and Shinn Fu?

From what I’ve seen, it seems to me that Shinn Fu made MVP (which I think sold mostly at Walmart) … and then changed the name to MVP pro-lift, and then changed the name to Pro-Lift for some reason.

That's about what I paid for them. I was thinking fifty two but I don't remember. It was so low that I was suspicious.
