I'm thinking they source out Taiwan mostly, the Powerfist is likely more Chinese. ProPoint impacts are an excellent buy, they last as long as that brand that starts with an S. Since Impacts are softer but tougher, they all wear. Having said that, I bought a ProPoint puller, looked good but didn't work well.

Pictures of 1/2, 3/8 and 3/8 flex head. The 1/4 is a Mastercraft.

From what I understand, the Pro Point impact sockets are sourced through Sunex (or the same supplier as Sunex).

As far as the ratchets, I'm not too much help there. Other than I think it seems like the different styles come from different sources. Their roto head ratchets look very similar to my Tekton rotos, so likely a common manufacturer there.

I do think they are one of the better values for what we can find locally in Canada. The latest gen of Mastercraft Maximum ratchets look nice, but they never go on sale and are high priced for what they are. I personally slightly prefer my Tekton and GearWrench ratchets to the Pro Point, but they have to be ordered online.

Overall the Pro Point line seems really similar in quality to the Pittsburgh Pro line at HD, just a Canadian version. And some of the stuff is better than others. I've got an 80 gallon air compressor branded Pro Point that's made in USA and has been really stout.

The one in the link looks like my Tekton which looks like a Pittsburgh which looks like........

I bought one out of curiosity. It's actually the first ratchet my lady reaches for. I think it's a very smooth action but personally don't care for the offset.
