Anyone know what happened to this company. they used to make sockets that were garaunteed not to scratch painted or chromed surfaces. I think they were something like fiberglass lined or something. but anyway, where are they now i can't seem to find them anymore?

Sure, I've heard of them. But you asked what happened to the company, and hell if I know. lol.you mean all you guys out there and no one has heard of these?
There are a bunch of plastic lined, non-marring lug nut sockets out there. Astro makes some, Sunex does too, don't know if the big boys offer them or not but they probably do.
Google "no scratch lug nut socket" and you'll find a bunch.
