Problem with bendpak xpr 2 post lift

I bought and had a bendpak 2 post xpr lift installed about a month ago. Have had problems with the arms reaching the lift points of some vehicles and not at all on others. Called customer service today and they advised me to modify the lift which would in turn lose the ali certification and also said the vehicles could not be lifted with a 2 post lift. I have used rotary and whip lifts quite a few times with and have not had this problem. Was wondering if anyone else has arm length problems with bendpak 2 post lifts? Even with the arms 90 degrees to the post they still wont reach the c10 frame.

Which model lift is it? Bendpak makes a lot of different 2-post lifts.
I'm guessing it's the XPR-10A?
It can be installed with 2 different widths. Do you have it at the wide setting (112" between columns) on narrow (99" between the columns)?
My guess is it's wide and that's the problem.

I agree, your arms don't look correct. I also have an XPR10, manufactured Oct 2012. My front arms are a triple telescoping design that measure 50" from the center of the piviot pin, to the center of the lift pad hole. My rear arms are double telescoping design measuring 52". My lift is also installed in the wide position and so far I've not had any problems reaching lift points. Hope this helps.
