Yesterday when finnishing up the floor with tiles, I run into a problem. There is a "slope" in the concrete just where the door is mounted. The slopes goes a to far into the garage so the door can not seal against the floor.

I would like to see some pictures from your floors just under the garagdoor to get some ideas how to fix this.

A slope as in there is a gap on one side and not the other, both sides, or does the concrete slope inside the garage? Not sure exactly what your sayin'.

My house has a 1" water ledge and the garage door sits just in front of it. I'm not a big fan of it because everyone trips on it my mom has done it twice now. I made sure they didn't put one on my detached garage though.

Not sure how yours works, but on my opener there is a dial you can turn to set where the door stops. Turn one way and it goes further before stopping...turn the other way and it doesn't go as far down.

I found out because the builder had it set too far so it would not stop closing when it hit the ground. It would act as if it hit something, therefore we would close the garage door and it would get to the bottom and open back up...
