Anyone have one of these? I'm looking at the 45k BTU model. Physical appearance close to Hot Dawg and Big Maxx...

I believe they are normally set up for NG and come with the LP kit.
They also use a "not well known" listing company for their rating approvals.

If your using for LP i don't think the price is reasonable if you have to install the kit.
I think there are a few people here that use them but IMO not on top of the preffered list.
I'm sure if you get it at a reasonable cost and the warranty is acceptable it will will work fine. Customer service goes a long way. I know the Mr.Heaters and Modines are good in that respect.

If you have Northern Tool in your area, you can go observe both the ProCom and Mr Heater Big Maxx in same store.

When I looked at both in my area, I thought ProCom looked cheap, while the Mr Heater Big Maxx looked fine. At only $399 for the MH Big Maxx, I'd go with that one. Lots of GJ people have MH Big Maxx and have pretty good reviews.

Thanks for the comments. I decided to go with the ProCom, it's 45000 btu is the output rating, where as the Big Maxx 50k is input... Should mention I'm frugal and the $150 discount at Northern Tool ($249 price) swayed me too...
