Product recommendation advice for virgin slab

Long time lurker, I usually find what I need by searching. I just moved into a new house with the full intent on building myself a detached garage/workshop in the back for my toys. The slab got poured two weeks ago. It's a 20x20 fiber reinforced slab. I asked them not to trowel it too smooth to not have to etch as heavily.

My problem is on my last house I went with the Lowe's epoxy special which was terrible, the only other options back then were obscenely expensive. It flaked and gouged and scratched etc...

I'd like to keep it around $1 sq.ft. or less. There is just an overwhelming amount of product out there I can't make up my mind. I do want to support a forum vendor for the wealth of information and one on one support when needed.

I've settled on an acid stain with a high gloss topcoat. My biggest gripe with epoxy is how bad it yellows when exposed to the sun. My last house 1/4 of the garage looked piss yellow and the other end still looked nice and tan. I like to work with the garage door open.

I've heard polyurea, polyaspartic, polyurethane, acrylic, epoxy etc.. So much to choose from. I paint, weld, drop things on my floor and need something with resilience that won't yellow over time. Moisture and humidity is not a problem, I live in the desert.

Thoughts?

Doesn't look like much compared to some of the insane looking garages on here but for me it's a dream come true.

I went with an off-white epoxy and a off-white colored urethane for this very purpose. Still a month away from actually putting it down (close on May 31st). The last possible thing I wanted was for it to change color. If it yellows through the color urethane for whatever reason, I'll put another coat on it down the road.

First, you need to consider that if you use the wrong top coat you are going to end up right back where you started. Legacy has a clear coat that might be ideal for this situation.

That's why I'm here, to gather advice and opinions on the product I should be using, ideally from the distributors themselves or the people that have used their products.

Maybe someone else can offer less condescending advice?

Say hello to Nohr-S. No yellow ever, was designed for marine use as in "Atlantic Ocean" marine use!

Here's some advice- an immense amount of people's time has been spent sharing their experiences and expertise on this very subject over and over.
Be humble, and spend a little time researching this forum. Or at the very least, don't accuse someone of being "condescending" when they're attempting to help.

Hi
Our one part SPGX polyurea would work great for this. Well priced too with the GJ 40% discount. Email us directly for more info.

Trust me, I do more research here than I do post. The very first sentence on my first post states that. There is a wealth of information on here, for sure. This is where I got most of my info 9 years ago on my first house. However, my specific taste is not vastly covered here.

That is why I basically gave forum vendors an open invitation to promote a product that would fit the bill. Instead I got a brash warning basically saying " dont screw it up" and shooed to a competitor.

Anyway, looks like the spgx coating is exactly what I'm looking for. I'll definitely share my experience, it seems like it's a fairly recent product.

I never even thought for a second that the reply you sent was in response to my post. It was not meant to be condescending at all. I am one of the distributors on the forum, but in my honest opinion another vendors product worked better for this specific case, so I was suggesting you look at that product so you did not have the same problem.

@USAFpj THANK YOU

I'm also leaning towards SPGX, interested to here about your experience. Have you ordered product yet?
