I love discovering new products, but if your anything like me you HATE spending hard earned cash of complete **** (Hindsight 20/20).

What products do you swear by?

Personally speaking, I'm a huge fan of this stuff. Its actually a better adhesive than their actual adhesive products, lol.

Loctite brand Super Glue actually.

And never the gell kind. The smaller the bottle the better.

Leatherman's, Sharpies, Jean, you name it. I try to find the nicest simplest things in the hopes they will last. Even razor blades, one swipe on a stone and they are usually good to use again.

Purple power good grease remover and ant killer.

ACF-50 by Lear Chemical. I call it Magic in a Can. Spray it in any flaky electrical connector, and it starts working again. Just last week, my wife's John Deere Gator quit running because the alternator wouldn't charge. The problem is the fuse block gets damp and the wires corrode a bit and resistance builds up, nothing works anymore. Literally just spray the fuse block and everything starts working again. Magic.

I love electrical contact cleaner. only problem with that is the cost. $20 a can is pricey, but I do lots of electrical work so I know how well it works. I fix apple charging cables all the time with it, but I use the PB blaster (I think) brand, bought a whole case at an auction for $20...


other products I love:
walmart's spray lube. not the best stuff but it's cheap and I use it for everything from starting a fire to removing stickers, wiping down tools/boxes, whatever.

wink rust remover in the brown bottle

roloc discs

sharpies - I love sharpies. get bleach on your black carhart coat? sharpie to the rescue. marking parts, even use it like dye on metal.

murphys oil soap. great for cleaning auto interiors, tire lube, you name it.

McKee's Plastic Polish- Didn't know what I was missing until I used this on my instrument cluster, safety glasses. Going to try my motorcycle helmet visors next.

Lexol car care- specifically Vinylex for car interiors/ motorcycles.

Mother's: MAG Polish, Carnuba Wax

Ecolab Clean Strike Series- Available at Menard's
Carpet Cleaner, Degreaser, Multi-Surface Cleaner.
The degreaser is probably going to replace Simple Green, which is a major change in my life. It doesn't wash off quite as easily but it is more powerful and no contact dermatitis so far.

ZEP Floor Stripper will remove or soften paint, cheaper and easier to wash away than other products.

Does anyone have a source for Wire Wheels that they swear by?
- specifically Crimped Cup Brushes for a 4.5- 7" angle grinder?
I eat through the cheapie Harbor Freights too quickly, Knot Brushes aren't good for contoured surfaces.

as everyone else has said...Aero KROIL! best stuff out there...

I really like Lexol on leather and vinyl.....Meguiars otherwise when cleaning cars.

Wesleys Bleche White on car tires works great....

Always had good luck with 3m stuff....say double sided tape, spray adhesive, etc.

Always have had good luck with Alpine car stereos.....loved them since I was a teenager. This past year put two bluetooth stereos in my Suburban and my gf's Suburban. Mine got the full treatment...sound deadening, Boston Pro components up front, JL subs, and two old skool Rockford Punch 200ix amplifiers....all good stuff.

I hate to tell you Westleys Bleach white fans but like all good things, the original formula is GONE, (see this video) they revamped it due to some b/s epa crapolla...Loved the original formula of Westley's, Aero Kroil rocks too! My lil Honda Eu2000i generator(s) have been a faithful companion and my a/c buddy after Katrina, I will never be without a Honda EU generator, ever!
And one other thing...baby wipes & Clorox wipes!

I like Metal Rescue better and I have used a bunch of both. If you have a week, I like molasses and water cause it is cheap and works as well
