Professional Tool Products is the importer of the tools. I'm like you, they seem to be good quality tools, but real info is difficult to find. The U.S division is located in Travelers Rest NC, with most of the manufacturing in Taiwan.
After an intensive search, I was able to find where one of the manufacturing plants where the Cornwell and Matco cordless tools are produced. I do not recall the province in Taiwan where the forge and factory is located, but found great details on the actual manufacturing facility, photos and all. The set up was state of the art, complete with a battery factory, forge, plastics division, assembly building along with an engineering department.
