That's not an option so I sm looking in how to
Program them myself looking at the

Not sure about the Grand Cherokees. I did my '05 Suburban a few years back. Found the programming instructions in the owners manual and the guy I bought the remotes from on ebay also included instructions. See if you can find them on ebay and then ask one of the sellers how to program before you shell out the money.

It's not hard, but the process must be followed exactly. I did one myself, as the dealer wanted to charge me a 1/2 hour of labor to do it, and I was certain it only took a few minutes. The owners' manual provides complete instructions, including the max times between steps.

I noticed AZ has replacement remotes
also found some at Ace Hardware
all the GMs I have I have been able to program myself
I even have an 01 S10 and my 02 Escalade on the same remote
which is my back up spare for both.

Unfortunately with Chrysler products you have to go to the dealership or locksmith. It literally takes about 2 minutes but it requires a jeep specific scan tool. Fords, gm, all the others I worked on are easy no dealer items. But jeeps, plug it in select passenger door, select slot 1 or 2 press button on fob done.

Jeep is dealer specific, as is ford and every japanese/german dealer I have seen. GM is a set key turn sequence...

my jeep is 11 years old now I can't believe you can't program them yourself
I did look on you tube and found nothing. Was looking at the auto max scanner
BUT they are getting Very bad reviews A buddy of mine has one and told me that
once you buy the autel that not the end of story Autel want 675.00 a year just to up date it Don't do up date they shut it off There is a LOT of complaints with that scanner:mad::mad::mad:
I would think by now some one would come up with a way to program the remotes I am getting sick of my wife complaining every day about these remotes
