If you want to mount your vise to that stand you could get you a piece of 3/4 plywood and mount your vise to it with the bolts counter sunk on the bottom and then bolt it to the grinder stand. I like your airfilter bracket.

Great to see you carrying on with your grandpas tools.

Thanks for the idea and kind words, Bret. I had entertained the idea of coming up with sort of an adpater plate like you mentioned. For now, though, I managed to get two bolts through, so my plan is to see how it goes. If it stays stable enough for what I need, I may just leave it. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best :thumbup:

Good news is the shoulder has been doing much better and we are on the tail end of wrapping up the bathroom so I should be back at it soon!
